Seinfeld - Saison 3.

La saison 3 de Seinfeld m'a de nouveau arraché des larmes de rire à plusieurs reprises. Certains des épisodes de cette saison sont de véritables bijoux où des histoires entières sont brodées autour des sujets les plus banaux, comme un stylo d'astronaute qui peut écrire à l'envers, un livre que Jerry n'a pas rendu à la bibliothèque depuis 15 ans, ... Des situations qui nous arrivent tous les jours sont mises en musique d'une façon exceptionelle : que ce soit la recherche d'une voiture dans un parking souterrain ou bien la soirée fastidieuse chez des amis d'amis, Jerry et ses comparses nous emmènent loin, très loin dans un voyage jusqu'au bout du fou-rire...



Le succès aidant, les producteurs commencent à voir que cette saison ne sera pas la dernière et terminent en beauté par un cliffhanger qui voit Kramer partir tenter sa chance à Hollywood après une dispute avec Jerry. Sera-ce la fin de la série pour ce personnage auquel j'attache une affection particulière au vu de son caractère ?



* Elaine: I'm sweating here. I'm in bed, sweating.
Jerry: It's one day. Half a day, really. I mean you subtract showers and meals, it's like twenty minutes. It'll go by like that (snaps his fingers).
(after being told by a chiropractor that she will have to stay for at least five more days)
Elaine: (to Jerry) Five more days?
Jerry: Well today's almost over. And weekdays always go by fast. Friday we're leaving. It's like two days really. It's like a cup of coffee. It'll go by like that. (snaps his fingers)

* George: Jerry, just remember, it's not a lie if you believe it.



* Kramer: He spit on us.... and I screamed out, "I'M HIT!"
Newman: Then I turned and the spit ricochet of him and it hit me.
Elaine: Wow, what a story.
Jerry: Unfortunately the immutable laws of physics contradict the whole premise of your account. Allow me to reconstruct this if I may for Miss Benes as I've heard this story a number of times. [...]
Jerry: I am saying that the spit could not have come from behind ... that there had to have been a second spitter! Behind the bushes on the gravelly road. If the spitter was behind you as you claimed that would have caused your head to pitch forward.
Elaine: So the spit could have only come from the front and to the right.
Jerry: But that is not what they would have you believe.
Newman: I'm leaving. Jerry's nuts!



Comme dirait George Clooney: "Seinfeld... What else ?"
